We are excited to be offering yet another cracking 73 RS inspired car, which given the values of the real thing, offers excellent value combined with every day usability.
This particular car started life in 1985 as a factory black 3.2 carrera and was first registered on the 9th of august 85 by Gordan Ramsay Ltd
We have MOT’s dating back to 1992 along with the original service book and a large file of bills receipts and invoices, covering servicing and listing all of the parts it has taken to turn this into the car you see here today.
Most notably there are around £20K’s worth of invoices from Tom Ferguson including a comprehensive engine rebuild carried out around 3000 miles ago costing over £4K and included new piston rings, timing chains, valve guides, new clutch, heat exchangers, 964 camshafts the list goes on. The 915 gearbox shifts as it should and the car handles brilliantly on its bilstein dampers, stops on a sixpence thanks to the Boxster Brembo brake conversion, and is a pleasure to drive with a real turn of speed.
The Recaro sports seats may not be “period correct” replicas but are actually extremely comfortable, supportive and accommodating to people of all shapes and sizes, a modern Pioneer stereo allows the use of your ipod/iphone and an alarm with remote central locking gives that final touch of modernity.
*we are now offering period seats of your choice with free fitting as part of the sale
