We are very pleased to be offering for sale another great "last of the analogue" 997's finished in classic and striking Guards Red with full black leather hide.

A generation 2 "facelift" car means no IMS worries, Led light and bumper upgrades, a more modern feeling interior with PCM that actually works with Bluetooth connectivity (Also able to upgrade to carplay) and most importantly a new DFi powerplant coupled to the seamless PDK transmission, the latter two really transforming the 997 into a totally different driving experience. This new engine design then carried on to the 991 generation and we feel it works better here.

As confirmed by the lovely original service book the car was supplied by Porsche Centre Reading and first registered on the 27th of August 2010, just over 2 years later the car changed hands and on the 14th Dec 2012 and was sold to a Mr Davenport who has owed the car since. The car subsequently has had just 2 owners from new which is almost unheard of these days.

In the last 5000 miles Mr Davenport has spent over £7k with marque specialists Williams Crawford, ensuring all the common 997 traits have been taken care of, along with correct servicing and new Michelin tyres @ 49473 miles.

We have been busy ensuring the cosmetic side of the car matches its mechanical history, and have just treated it to a full front end repaint due to some minor stone chips and had the gorgeous original wheels refinished to a factory standard as remarkably they were still in their original finish with some light corrosion on the polished lips. It now looks fantastic again and will stand proud at any show or club meet.

We will of course be carrying out our usual mechanical checks and prep, an intermediate service with brake fluid change completed and we include a new MOT along with our comprehensive warranty.

Guards red 997's are a rare find in Gen 1 or Gen 2 and finding a 2 owner car in this condition is a real treat.
