The 992 Turbo S was first introduced in March 2020 (great timing right) and unusually came to market before a standard Turbo model. The Turbo S boasts a mind blowing 0-60mph time of 2.6 seconds and a huge 650bhp. Impressively, the 992 beats the previous generation GT2 RS (700bhp) by a tenth of a second between 0-60mph and its 0-124mph time of 8.9 seconds, takes a full second off its direct predecessor. This power is delivered through a 3.7-litre flat 6 engine and is heavily ‘encouraged’ by two turbochargers.

To balance the new power and engine, the turbine wheels of the turbos spin in opposite directions across the car. The right side turbo will spin clockwise, and the left side will spin counter clockwise, to balance against each other like a gyroscope, a small clever detail to find that surely impossible extra bit of performance. Standard equipment such as: Porsche dynamic chassis control (PDCC), rear-axle steering and ceramic composite brakes help to make the 992 Turbo S an unprecedented combination of power, driving dynamics, and everyday usability.
